Two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl Friday night causes extensive damage to SUV

No serious injuries

An SUV was extensively damaged in a two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl Friday night but there were no serious injuries.

The crash happened at the intersection of Richard Nolan Drive and Old Placentia Road at about 7:30 p.m. and slowed traffic in the area until the scene could be cleared.

Eastern Health paramedics checked a number of people at the scene but none went to hospital.

The RNC is investigating.
