RCMP are investigating a shooting in Fort McMurray that left a man with serious injuries Sunday morning.
Around 12:40 a.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of gunshots on Biggs Avenue near Hardin Street, police said in a release Wednesday. Officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds and he was airlifted to an Edmonton hospital with serious injuries.
It is unknown whether the shooting was random or targeted.
