Marcus Gosse believes his new Mi’kmaq colouring book will be a great learning resource for teachers and people wanting to learn more about their Mi’kmaq culture together.
He said many people have created children and adult colouring books and believes that his new book is suited to everyone in the family.
Titled “Colouring Mi’kma’ki” (a colouring book of Mi’kmaq Territory), it came out just last week and features 26 drawings, his biography, a description of the Mi’kmaq Eight-Pointed Star and an index of all the drawings with their matching titles and descriptions.
Gosse explained that Mi’kma’ki means Mi’kmaq Territory of Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Quebec, P.E.I., New Brunswick and Maine.
He spent a full year drawing the images and completing the layout of the book.
Gosse said anyone interested in this book can contact him directly on Facebook, until it goes into stores.
