Vehicle stolen in Upper Island Cove

RCMP are warning Nova Scotians to be wary of phone scams they’ve labeled ‘holiday heartstring scams’ after reports began coming in from Kings County.

UPPER ISLAND COVE, N.L. —

Bay Roberts RCMP is looking for help from the public to determine who was responsible for the recent theft of a vehicle in Upper Island Cove.

On May 14, 2019, Bay Roberts RCMP received a complaint about the stolen vehicle. Sometime during the day, a 2008 white Ford Edge was stolen from a driveway on Crane’s Road.

Later that evening, the vehicle was located in St. John's after an attempt was made to burn the vehicle.
