Twenty-seven-year-old Andrew Parsons is in custody after turning himself in on Sunday evening.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says Parsons, sought in connection with an armed robbery at a Conception Bay South business on the night of Feb. 22, contacted police and arrested without incident at a residence in the town. 

He's expected to appear in provincial court today.

EARLIER STORY

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary are asking the public for help in locating 27-year-old Andrew Parsons. 

Parsons is wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a business on the Conception Bay South Highway on Friday at 9:00p.m.

Police say they have identified Parsons as the third man responsible for the armed robbery. 

Anyone with information about Parsons' wherabouts are asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
