PORT ANSON, N.L. – A 22-year-old Robert’s Arm man is facing numerous driving-related charges.

According to a RCMP release today, July 23, the man was arrested Friday evening, July 20, after complaints of dangerous driving earlier in the week from a concerned resident of Port Anson.

Shortly after 6:00 p.m. on July 20, police saw a black Honda Civic travelling at an extremely high rate of speed entering the residential area of Port Anson, the release indicates.

The man was charged with driving while suspended, driving imprudently, operation of an unregistered vehicle and operation of a vehicle without insurance.

The vehicle was impounded and the man was released with a court appearance scheduled for a later date.
