TROUT RIVER, NL – The Rocky Harbour RCMP received a report on May 23 that a dog had been shot and killed in Trout River.
During their investigation, additional information was received claiming on at least one other occasion a dog has been shot in the community, according to a news release.
The RCMP is advising the public to report any complaints about animals to the police and to not take matters into their own hands.
The investigation into the matter is continuing, according to police.
