MOUNT PEARL, N.L. — An SUV was flipped on its side Monday night following a two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl.
The collision happened at about 11 p.m. at the intersection of Ruth Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue when a car apparently struck the SUV on its side. Firefighters had to cut away the front windshield of the SUV to free the two occupants who had no serious injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured in the incident which left both vehicles with extensive damage.
