Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Chief Joseph Boland will be making a statement to the media in St. John's regarding Wednesday morning’s early fatal shooting involving an on-duty RNC officer in Corner Brook late Tuesday evening.
As the investigation will be conducted by an outside agency, and as investigators are awaiting a report by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, media were told Boland will not be taking any questions following his statement.
The Telegram will be at the briefing at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and expected to stream it live on The Telegram's Facebook page.
