A Russian woman high on drugs and fueled by a jealous rage allegedly hacked her teen model sister to death , stabbing her 189 times, before mutilating her naked body.

And now, three years after the horrific butchering of 17-year-old Stefania Dubrovina in St. Petersburg, Elizaveta Dubrovina, 22, has been found fit to stand trial after initially being sent for psychiatric treatment and faces 25 years in prison, according to the U.K. Sun, citing court documents.

Elizaveta Dubrovina often “scoffed at her sister” and reportedly hated her beauty, which along with drugs sparked her alleged murderous frenzy. The victim was stabbed in her head, torso and limbs then mutilated, with her eyes gouged out and ears hacked off.

But Elizaveta denies she killed her sister, instead pointing the finger at Stefania’s alleged lover, 44-year-old Alexey Fateev, who found the body. Fateev discovered her bloody corpse in his apartment after returning from buying wine, though cops say he is a witness, not a suspect.

Oksana Dubrovina, the mother of the two sisters, told Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda that Fateev killed Stefania when he learned she had posed for nude photos. Another source told the Russian paper Stefania was not involved in the porn industry or sex trade.

“To put it mildly, Stefania was not loyal to him,” Oksana told the paper.

Ekaterina Dubrovina, the sisters’ aunt, said Stefania’s murder was a “shocking tragedy.”

“My blood turns to ice,” she added.

The trial is expected to start soon.
