Sydney Loofe was looking for love.

Instead, she found the Grim Reaper.

The 24-year-old Nebraska woman’s body parts were discovered stuffed into garbage bags southwest of Omaha in December, 2017.

She had been cut into 14 pieces. A Tinder date that went off the rails.

Her accused killer and his girlfriend are now on trial for first-degree murder.

If  Aubrey Trail, 52, and his girlfriend Bailey Boswell, 25, are found guilty, they will face a date with the needle.

At Trail’s murder trial, the jury heard macabre testimony of Loofe’s dismemberment murder.

Dr. Michelle Elieff testified she found Loofe’s earlobe was torn and there was bruising on the victim’s wrists, back of her head and her inner thighs. The wrist bruises showed the victim had been restrained.

The defence has argued the slaying resulted from “rough, consensual sex”.

The mouthpiece suggested that Loofe agreed to participate with Trail in a “sexual asphyxiation” fantasy that would be filmed. The dead woman agreed to be paid for the video.

The prosecution said the victim was lured to her death on Tinder.

Loofe met Boswell on the app before going on a date on Nov. 14, 2017 and planning a second one for the following night.

The last anyone heard from her was a post on Snapchat where she declared: “Ready for my date.”

Detectives believed that Trail and Boswell planned Loofe’s abduction and horrific killing.

Cops say Loofe was strangled to death by an extension cord and his young gal pal helped in her dismemberment.

Trail reportedly had aspirations of forming a vampire sex cult, trying to convince numerous women on Tinder he could fly and read minds.

The women said Trail liked to be called “daddy” and engaged in group sex with him.

Boswell was the “Queen Witch.”
