Passed peacefully away at home with his family. Mourning his loss his loving mother Beatrice; his wife Gertrude (Ruth) of 56 years; his sons: Raymond (Roxanne), Allison (Donna), Austin (Lynda Brown); his precious grandchildren: Kylene (mother Doris), Alyson, Megan, Olivia, Sophia, Rhys Howard; special nephew Shane McKay (Lisa), their sons Brandon and Curtis; special nephew Brian (Lynette) O’Neill; special niece Christine (Charlie) Young and family; special aunt Lorraine Bugden, aunt Sadie Bugden; sisters-in-law: Emma Harnett, Pearl Walker, Mary Jane Tucker, Yvonne Raymond-Murphy, Ardelle (Terry) O’Neill, Barbara Jean Raymond; brothers-in-law: Bill (Mary), Burt (Georgina), Randy (Linda) Raymond. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Allison Bugden, and sister Esther McKay-O’Brien, father and mother-in-law William and Martha Raymond, uncles Howard and Lloyd Bugden, the Pear family Elward, Raymond, Owen, Earl Pear, Nada Brewer, Mabel Jennings, Ida Primmer; sisters-in-law: Irene (Frank) Fleet, brothers-in-law: Frank Raymond, Hubert Harnett, Frank Tucker, nieces and nephews Debra Walker, Stephen O’Neill, Paul Harnett, Christopher Raymond. Also leaving to mourn his very special family of staff and friends 2 South Corner Brook Long Term Care. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Thursday, December 13th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 14th at 11 a.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Corner Brook Long Term Care.
