Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Angus William McKinnon announce his passing on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Corner Brook Long Term Care in his 78th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters: Alice (Pete), Lisa; grandchildren: Mellissa, Amanda, Kayla; great-grandchildren Lexy, Hailey, Faith, Penny, Donovan; predeceased by his grandson Brandon; also survived by brothers-in-law: Ron and Vern; sisters: Minnie, Florie (Ron), Dot (Carl), Theresa, Mary, Sylvia (Randy), Sadie (Randy); brothers: Russell, Danny (Paulette), Archie (Lindy), Alex; honorary daughters: Amanda Targett (Cory) and Jeanette Day; and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Angus was predeceased by his parents Alice & Archibald McKinnon; sisters: Shirley and Margaret; brothers: Jimmy, Johnny, Joe and Allen. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Chapel on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10:30 am with Father White officiating. At Angus request, cremation to follow the service and interment to take place at a later date.
