Corner Brook, NL 1938 -2018 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Anita Grace Butler (Taylor) announce her passing following a brief illness on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 at the Health Science Centre St. John’s at the age of 80 years. Pre-deceased by her loving husband John, Leaving to mourn with fond & loving memories are her sons Hal (Devon) Moncton, NB; Brad (Cindy) Holyrood, NL; and three grandchildren Jonathon, Moncton, NB; Ryan (Tamara) Vancouver, BC; Erin (Steve) Holyrood, NL; Brother Bob (Pat) Taylor Corner Brook; sisters-in-law Myra Taylor, St. John’s, NL; Barbara McCourt Boston, MH; Emily McDonald Enfield, NL; Hazel Butler Pasadena, NL; Mildred Melee St. John’s, NL; brothers-in-law Jim Brake Corner Brook, NL; Walter Butler, Harry Butler St. John’s, NL; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Pre-deceased by her parents Alfreda and Harold Taylor; Brothers Maxwell, Edward, Morley and David Taylor; sisters Ena Bacho (Taylor), Betty Brake (Taylor); brothers-in-law Douglas Butler, Pat Rose, Edward McCourt, Leslie McDonald, Lew Gilbert, Clem Butler, Wallace Butler, Ted Butler, Frank Bacho; sisters-in-law Dorothy Taylor, Judy Taylor, Barbara Gilbert, Lenore Butler, and Lillian Butler. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 13th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street. To honor & respect Anita’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will take place at Curling Memorial United Church on Monday October 15th, 2018 at 3:30pm with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating.
