Barbara Martha House

Gillams, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara House announce her passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, NL on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd, 2018 in her 72nd year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her 2 daughters: Marie (Todd) Denine, Irene (Terry) Locke; her 2 grandchildren: Marissa (Mike), and Tiffany; her sister Kate (Sam) Park; her brother Ben (Dorothy) Tucker; her sister-in-law Hilda House; her special friends: Tilly Young, Earl Murphy, Dave Kennedy; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Garfield House; and her parents Joseph and Nora Tucker. Visitation for family and friends will take place at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Meadows on Friday, Oct. 5th, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, Oct. 6th, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Mary Rose Colbourne officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, and/or memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thank you to Dr. Patty Power and the staff at the H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre for their care and compassion through this difficult time.
