Beulah Mabel Simmonds (nee Anderson)

It is with great sadness that the families of the late Beulah Mabel Simmonds (nee Anderson) announce her passing on Sunday, March 4th, 2018 at the Long Term Care Unit in Corner Brook in her 93rd year. She will be sadly missed by her loving son David (Dulcie), grandsons Paul (Amanda Vella), Mark (Mandy), great-grandchildren Jacob and Hannah, brother Edward (Sadie) and a large circle of family and friends. Beulah was predeceased by husband Arthur, July 31, 2017, parents Albert and Florence, sister Albertha (Calvin) Upwards, brothers Pye (Amanda), and Joshua (Doreen), parents-in-law John and Sarah Simmonds, brothers-in-law Leslie (Alice), and Charles (Myrtle), sisters-in-law Flora (Ben) Shears, Lucy (Sidney) Anderson, Ella (Charles) Moores and Eva (Harold) Young. Visitation will take place from the Church of The Resurrection, in Birchy Head, Bonne Bay on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018, from 4-9 pm where also the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018, at 2 pm with Rev. Kay Short and Canon Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot. Flowers will be graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff of the Long Term Care Unit in Corner Brook for the special care given to Beulah.
