It is with heavy hearts that the families of Bob (Robert Anthony) Curtis announce his sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Monday, March 6th, 2018 at the age of 51 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Phoebe (nee Young), his son Liam Curtis, his siblings John (Helen) Curtis, Jean (Lawrence Young), Dennis Curtis, William (Myra) Curtis, Francis (Lorna) Curtis, Michael (Rhoda) Curtis, Gary Curtis, Linda Vatcher, Clifford Curtis, Sean Curtis, and Brian Curtis, mother and father-in-law Kevin Young Sr, and Barbara Young, sisters-in-law Nina (Greg) Baldwin, Kathy Young (Eugene Collins), and Connie Young (Ray Guzman), brothers-in-law Barry Young (Crystal Blanchard), and Kevin Young (Darlene Thompson), his beloved dogs Bailie and Boo, his nieces and nephews Danielle Jillian Baldwin, Heather Young, Adam Young, Joshua Young, Giovanni Young, Cameron Curlew, Kayla Manuel, Nick Manuel, Kevin Young, Dominique Gill, Edward, Nicole, Dennis, Liana, Suzanne, Michelle, Jason, Jamie, Tina, Jerry, Nikki, Brenda, Connie, Stephen, Melissa, Peter, John, Tanya, Gary, Chad, Corey and Jenna, his uncles Richard (Sybil) O'Driscoll, and Earl Jeffries. Also leaving behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relative’s and friends at Syncrude Canada. Bob was predeceased by his parents Theresa and Frank Curtis, his sisters Louise (Gerald) Gordon, and Mary Ann, brother Peter, his aunt Mary Ann Jefferies, his nephew Lyndon Young, and brother-in-law Wince Vatcher. The funeral service will take place from on Friday, March 9th, 2018 at 2 pm, at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, with Father Gabriel, and Pastor Roy and Marion Randell officiating and keeping with Bob’s wishes cremation to follow with the interment to follow at a later date.
