Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Stuckless announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at the age of 70. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Nancy Stuckless (Pittman) of 46 years; his children: Brad Stuckless (Terri Donahue), Beverley Distrola (Vincent), and Ross Trimm (Sherry); his grandchildren: Courtney, Hannah, Shawna-Marie, Caylee, Olivia, RJ, and Madison; his siblings: Helen Wareham (Clarence), Sterling Stuckless (Carol), Jean Storey (Dickey), Michelle Munn (Jack), Wade Stuckless (Chelsea); and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. David was predeceased by his parents: Martin and Madeline Stuckless; his parents-in-law: Campbell and Caroline Pittman; and his sister Ivy. At David’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 and Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the First Pentecostal Church, 58 Premier Drive on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018 at 2pm with Pastor Larry Soper officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at the WMRH Chemotherapy unit who took care of Dave for the last year, and to the other nurses and doctors who cared for Dave over the last few weeks.
