PIEROWAY Dorothy Dorothy M. Pieroway of Chesley, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Parkview Manor, Chesley on Saturday, August 31, 2019 in her 92nd year. Loving mother of Brenda and her husband Ian Scott and Bruce Pieroway. Cherished grandmother of Glenn and Adam. Dorothy will be forever remembered by her sister Reta Tizzard, sisters-in-law Joan Green and Ina McLeod as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin, brothers Harold, Robert, sister Ruby, her parents Archibald and Catherine Jane (Wall) Green and her in-laws Joseph Wilfred and Elizabeth Ann (Gillam) Pieroway. Dorothy's family held a casual, celebration of her life at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 3 - 6 p.m., where memories were shared of a woman who always enjoyed a good laugh and being surrounded by her family and friends. Dorothy's cremated remains will be interred back at home in St. Mary The Virgin Anglican Cemetery in St. George's, Newfoundland. Memorial donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation, Parkview Manor Residents Fund or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
