Ethel Mary Martin

Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Martin announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre on Dec. 12, 2018 at the age of 67. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her common law partner Monte Pike of 25 years; her daughters: Abby (Dennis), and Allison Brake; her siblings: Elizabeth, Maude (Bob), Ben (Doreen), Gerald, Roy (Tina), Aidan (Lillian), Paul (Mary Lou), Raymond, Joe (Phyllis), Jacinta (Bob); her sisters-in-law: Cathy Martin and Pauline Martin; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ethel was predeceased by her parents: Patrick & Mary Martin; her brothers: Patrick and Leslie Martin; her sister Roseanne (Gerry) Bromley; and her special nephew Darren Martin. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 at 10 am with Father White officiating. Cremation to follow and interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations can be made to The Gathering Place, St. John’s.
