KENNEDY Frances Louise Corner Brook, NL 1937 – 2019 It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Frances Louise Kennedy announce her passing on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 61 years, Baxter; her children: Joanne, Jerry (Karen), and Grandson Johnathon (Sabrina); sister: Mary White, brothers: Robbie (Edna), Harold, Eugene (Melvina); sisters in-Law: Edna Clarke, Verna Kennedy, Ruby Sturge, and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Pearce and Ida Blackwood; brother Eleazor, brothers in-law Roddy Kennedy, Doug Clarke, Lem Gillingham, Lee White, and sister in-law Maisie Blackwood. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, August 8th at 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at First United Church, Park Street on Friday, August 9th at 11: a.m. with Rev John van Vliet officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to NL West SPCA 10 Connors Road Corner Brook, NL A2H 3G4.
