Fred Harold Ford — Corner Brook

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Fred Harold Ford announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Ann of 56 years; sons: Chris, Ken (Angela Payne) Ford; his grandchildren: Miranda (Grant), Dylan (Sophia), Steven, Laura; great-grand daughters Christena, Paige and Madison; sisters and brothers: Phyllis (Linda), Lawrence, David (Madeline), Donna (Jack) and Charlene; sister-in-law: Ellen; in-laws Mary (Willy), Patsy (Lorne), Robert, Sheila (Roy), Judy, Pauline, and Danica (Peter). He was predeceased by his parents: Fred and Kathleen Ford; brother Ken and mother and father-in-law Gordon and Maude Wilton. At Fred’s request, cremation has taken place. A visitation for family and friends will be held from Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church Cathedral, Main St. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 11am with The Very Reverend Catherine Short and Archbishop Stewart Payne officiating. Interment to be at a later date. As expressions of sympathy there are no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the SPCA.
