Georgina (Jean) Anne Smith

Stephenville, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Georgina (Jean) Smith announce her passing at the WMRH on February 2, 2018 at the age of 65. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories; her son Michael Smith; daughter Jennifer (Matthew) Klandrud; grandchildren: Riley and Keegan Klandrud; sisters: Alfreda DeLuca, Diana Miller, Shannon Dressel, Jenny Russell; and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Michael Smith (1994); her parents William and Gertrude Russell; and many brothers and sisters. At Jean’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation, the memorial mass will take place on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Saint Steven's Roman Catholic Church in Stephenville, at 11.00 am. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit.
