Irishtown, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Anthony Terry announce his passing on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Corner Brook Long Term Care in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Mae (nee Park) of 54 years; son Michael (Mick) Terry (Deborah); daughter Geraldine (Chris); three grandsons: Adam (Bonitea), Nathan (Shelley), Lindsey (Sarah); granddaughter Robyn; two great-grandchildren: Michael and Hunter; sisters: Josephine Hunt, Jane Clark, Mame Hann; brother Cyril (Marilyn); sister-in-law Marlene (Mark); brothers-in-law: Fred (Glynis), Irvine (Geraldine), Wade (Bernice), Eugene; and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Gerald was predeceased by his parents Hughie and Mary Terry; mother and father-in-law Lindsey and Myrte Park; sister Agnes Porter (Edgar); brothers: Mick, James (Ida). Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from the All Hallows Catholic Church on Humber Road at 10 am with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations ca be made to the NL Parkinson’s Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
