Gerald L. Peddle

Corner Brook, NL Gerald Peddle passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018 in his 83rd with his family by his side. He leaves to mourn with loving memories, children: Byron (Patricia), Glenda, Darren (Joan), Susan and Margaret-Ann; grandchildren: Kirk, Melanie (Roy) and Adrian (Chelsea); five great-grandchildren: special friend Joyce Reid; sisters: Printzaline (Albert), Glenys; brothers: Stirling, Norman (Ann), Ross (Diane); brothers-in-law: Byron Batt and Courtland Elkins; and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gerald was predeceased by his wife Roella Phyllis Peddle (2015); parents: Aaron and Annie Peddle; parents-in-law: Frank and Lucy Critch; sisters: Margaret, Shirley, Elizabeth, Mary; sisters-in-law: Ena Elkins and Valerie Peddle; brothers-in-law: James Batt, Bill Jones, Fred King, Allan Critch; special uncle James Hunt. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Cremation to follow visitation. The funeral service will take place on Friday, June 22, 2018 a 2 pm from the St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Curling Street with Rev. Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Primates World Relief & Development Fund.
