Helen Mary O'Brien

Corner Brook, NL Mourning the passing of Helen Mary O’Brien on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sisters: Maureen (Willis) French, Dale (Peter) Ledrew, of Corner Brook, Ann Morrison of Prince George, B.C, brothers: Peter (Irene) O’Brien, of Mount Pearl, and Terrance O’Brien of Stephenville; and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents John (Jack) and Frances (Arnold) O’Brien. Helen was a strong, yet quiet advocate of her faith, she will be fondly remembered by all. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 15th from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place from Sacred Heart Parish in Curling on Friday at 10:30 a.m., with Father Jim Robertson officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart Parish in Curling.
