Parsons Sr. Herman Stephenville Crossing, NL Nov. 28, 1927 – Sept. 10, 2019 It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Herman Parsons Sr. announce his passing on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 91 years. He will be forever missed and loved by his loving wife of 72 years Stella (Dell); children: Karen Brumsey, Cyril (Patsy), Robert, Christopher (Mona), Judy Luscombe (Derrick), Dereck (Judy), Tony (Michelle), Stephen (Mandy), Herman (Loretta); 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brothers: Albert (Sandy), Vincent (Judy); sisters: Rosalie Ritchie (Arnold), Shelia Cassel, Martha Ham (Bob), Claudia De’Priest; sister-in-law Louise White as well as many nieces, nephews other family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Israel and Matilda Parsons; brothers: Cyril, Malcolm, Ignatius; sisters: Elizabeth Franklin, Muriel Johnson; sons: Allan, Arthur; grandson Philip Parsons; sons-in-law: Albert Skinner, Matthew Brumsey and daughter-in-law Joyce Parsons. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2019 between the hours of 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing, NL at 10 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing, NL will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Assumption Parish or Assumption Parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
