It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Janet Baker (nee Campbell) announce her passing on June 4, 2018, at the Western Memorial Hospital, at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with loving memories, children: Phyllis (Mel) Dinney, Jeff (Racheal) Baker, David (Tanis) Baker; grandchildren: Kristin (James), Mitchell, Kenneth (Rayell) Dinney, Caitlynn (Frank) Baker, and Mason Baker; great-grandchildren: Jasper and Lauren Mitchell; siblings: Fred (Joan) Campbell. Sisters-in-law: Nellie (Bob) George, Valerie (David) Thorn, Irene (Ivan) Butler; brothers-in-law: Eric (Agusta) Baker, John (Glenda) Baker, Robert (Gertie) Baker, Barry (Mary) Baker, James George; also friends in her card club for more than 50 years, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Everett Baker, parents: Charles and Bessie Campbell; brother: Lloyd Campbell; mother and father-in-law: Nick and Edith Baker; sister-in-law: Emma George. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive in Deer Lake on Wednesday, June 6, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at St Michael’s Anglican Church in Deer Lake on Thursday, June 7th, 2018 at 2pm with The Rev. Canon Paulette Bugden Officiating. Internment will be at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Daffodil Place.
