John (Bill) Boland
BOLAND John (Bill) Colleen Boland, along wth her son, Paul and his wife, Rikki, would like to express their gratitude to all those who offered their condolences on the sudden passing of a loving husband and father, John (Bill) Boland. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all those who called, sent sympathy or prayer cards, emailed, and sent condolences via social media or Fillatres Funeral Home website. For those who sent flowers and/or made donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, both were greatly appreciated. To those who visited, and prepared or delivered food, we thank you for your time and generosity. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Bill’s immediate and extended family, who travelled from across the province, and the country, so that we could all be together at this difficult time. Thank you to all the staff of Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Curling for your kindness and professionalism toward our family during a time of deep sorrow. We would like to to say a gracious thank you Monsignor Jim Robertson for the compassionate and fitting words in expressing Bill’s love of life as well as his kindness and caring toward other people . Along with Monsignor Robertson, we’d like to thank the grievance committee, the folk choir, and the communion ministers at Sacred Heart Parish for putting together a beautiful mass to celebrate Bill’s life. Thank you to family members and close friends who were a part of Bill’s mass as pall bearers, readers, and offertory gift bearers. We’d also like to thank the Ladies Group of Sacred Heart Parish for arranging the reception that followed. We consider ourselves very lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives. With our deepest thanks, Colleen, Paul and Rikki “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” ~A.A. Milne
