It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Joseph Milton Hatcher announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Georgina; sisters Evelyn (Allen) Brough, Elaine (Willis) Major, Ivy (Terry) Welsh; brothers Edmund (Freda) Hatcher, Gerald (Joan) Hatcher, William (Bev) Hatcher, Clayton (Cynthia) Hatcher, George (Ruth) Hatcher; sisters-in-law Vera Hatcher, Etta–Mae (Eugene) Tiller, Shirley Fillier, Dora (Norman) Randell, Bessie Gillard, Myrtle Canning, Annie May Gillard, brothers-in-law Frank Sheppard, Leander (Loretta) Gillard, Lloyd (Joan) Gillard, John Gillard and Robbie (Stephanie) Randell. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Mary (Gillard); daughter Ivy Hatcher; his parents Georgina and George Hatcher; brothers Lionel, Terrance and Wayne; sister Madeline Laing; nieces Jennifer, Katelyn, Jane and Annette; brothers-in-law Russell Laing, Roland Goosney, George Moore-Gough; mother and father-in-law Jonathan and Sylvia Gillard; brothers-in-law Frank, Ray and Stennie Gillard; sisters-in-law Marjorie Shepherd, Georgia Taylor, Mary and Maxine Hatcher. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd in Norris Point, NL on Monday, August 27th from 7-9 PM and continuing on Tuesday, August 28th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.Where also the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 29th with the Cannon Terry Rose officiating.
