YOUNG Lawrence Stephenville, NL (Formerly of Stephenville Crossing, NL) Aug. 13, 1932 – Sept. 6, 2019 It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Lawrence Young announce his passing on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 87 years. He will be forever missed and loved by his wife Ethel; children: Donald (Dorothy), Lorraine (Joseph), Ronald (Darlene), Janet (Anthony), Wayne (Allison), Caron (Pat), Cathy (Ambrose), Sean (Paula); 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren as well as brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews other family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Joseph & Madeline Young; sons: Elias, Phonsie; grandchildren Sheldon and Steven. Visitation will take place on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL between the hours of 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing, NL with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Inurnment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing, NL will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
