SPENCER Mark Corner Brook, NL Mar. 31, 1964 – Sep. 25, 2019 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mark Dennis Spencer announce his passing on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the age of 55 years. Mark leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Margie; his mother Melida; his sisters: Ruth (Gary) Pike, Judy (Brian) Warren; his brother Wayne (Sandra) Spencer; his mother in law Nellie O’Neill; his sisters in law: Donna Spencer, Betty Anderson, Janice O’Neill, Johanne (Joe) Michelin, Sheila O’Neill; his brothers in law: Terry (Tiarra) O’Neill, John O’Neill (Suzanne), Greg O’Neill; and his uncle Henry Anderson. Also leaving to mourn are his many nieces and nephews: Scott, Penny, Melissa, Stephanie, Robert, Robyn, Renee, Noah, David, Megan, Kim, Kayla, Gage, Xavier, Lilly-Ann and Emily as well as several grand nieces and nephews; his furry companions: Molly and Milo; and his special friends Judy and Fred Whalen. Mark was predeceased by his wife Jackie Spencer; his father Harold Spencer; his brothers: Seaward Anderson and Richard Spencer; his father in law William O’Neill; his brother in law Todd Carter; and his fury companion Askem. Mark was involved in many volunteer organizations within the city of Corner Brook. The Corner Brook Kinsmen Club, Corner Brook Lions Club, Corner Brook Winter Carnival, Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, and his all-time favourite, the Santa Claus Parade HO HO HO. The family would like to thank Community Health: Ealaina Murrin, Karla Lavers, Nicole LaFosse, and Doctors: Pieroway, Atkinson and Husch. Visitation for family and friends was held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service was held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 36 Clarence Street on Sunday, September 29th, 2019 at 2 pm with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice. “Forever In Our Hearts”
