Mary Ellen Ryan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mary Ellen Ryan nee Ezekiel, at Pleasantview Towers in St. John’s, NL on Monday, March 18th, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Eugene (Julia), Raymond, Tony (Cathy), Cathy, Patricia (Claude) and Dan (Sarah), her 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, her siblings: Patrick Ezekiel, Richard (Barb) Williams and Florence (Ron) Tulk, her son-in-law Sheldon Roberts and daughter-in-law Sharon Ryan. Mother was predeceased by her husband Henry, daughter Nancy, son Rod, sisters: Loretta and Rosella (Mike Dyer). Also left to mourn are her Ryan family, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. Funeral Mass of Christian burial took place at Holy Rosary Parish in Pasadena, NL on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 with Father Patry officiating. Keeping with Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place with inurnment to follow at a later date at the family plot. Funeral details were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home in Deer Lake, NL.
