Mary (Mollie) Tobin

Corner Brook, NL A piece of our world is a bit smaller today as we announce the passing of our beloved mother Mary (Mollie) Tobin who passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23rd, 2018 in her 91st year. She was preceded by her husband Peter; her son’s baby Peter, and Paul. Left with this great sadness are her children: Marion (Gerry) Guy, Barbara Ann Ryan, Sheila (Gerald) Canning, Leo (Belinda), Joan Buckle, and Jane; her daughter-in-law Paulette; her 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; her sister Nellie Murphy; her nephew Dave (Diane) Murphy; her sisters-in-law: Jenny Murphy and Isabel Tobin; and also left to grieve is a large loving circle of nephews, nieces and friends. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, Sept. 25th, 2018 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, Sept. 26th, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, Sept. 27th, 2018 at 10 am with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at town site cemetery, Montgomerie Street. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
