Flat Bay, NL It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Richard Bennett announce his passing at his family residence in Flat Bay, NL on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2018 at the age of 85 years. He will be forever remembered and loved by his wife Noreen; sons: Rodney, Roger, Richard Jr., Robert; daughters: Paulette, Elaine; step-son Bernard; step-daughter Janet; grandson, who he raised, Brian Young; 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; sister Olive Benoit as well as many nieces, nephews other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Gertrude Benoit; daughter Judy; brothers: Robert Bennett, Roy Bennett, Ronnie Benoit, Raymond and sister Alma. Visitation will take place from St. Ann’s Chapel, Flat Bay between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, February 4th and Monday, February 5th. The funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating.
