Sadie Freake — TORONTO
FREAKE Sadie Green 1918 – 2019 It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother. She died peacefully in Toronto on May 17, 2019 in her one hundred and first year. She leaves to mourn her son, Douglas and daughter, Margaret, her grandson, Philip (Jessie) and her great-grandchildren, Evan, Kate and Andrew. Sadie lived in Corner Brook for sixty-five years and was married to the late Dexter Freake. She was a devoted member of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. She continued to be a proud Newfoundlander despite moving to Toronto to be near her family in 2008. Sadie will be buried with her husband in the Mount Patricia Cemetery and interment will take place in August.
