Sylvia Nina Ryan (nee Pye)

Corner Brook, NL Passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, surrounded by family, on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at the age of 69. She leaves to mourn with loving memories, her husband of 47 years, Wayne; daughters Karen Ryan and Janice Turner, Corner Brook; son Christopher Ryan (Janna), Calgary, Alberta; grandchildren Nathan and Sylvie LeMoine, Corner Brook; sister Mona Amirault (Robert), Welland, Ontario; sisters-in-law Madge Pye, Alberta, and Diane Roberts (Jim), St. John's; brothers-in-law Robert Ryan, St. John's, and Don Ryan (Donna), Cornwall, Ontario; beloved Brooklyn, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Malcolm and Henrietta Pye, and her brother Horace Pye. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 2 pm at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, 456 Curling Street, with Archbishop Stewart Payne officiating; inurnment to follow at St. Mary the Virgin Upper Cemetery, Curling Street.
