Rocky Harbour It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vera E. Humber announce her passing at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Orville (Wanda) of Rocky Hr, daughters Marion (George) of Brandon, MB, Lillian (Mike) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Norma (Gordon) of Gander, brother Ross Nicolle of Rocky Hr., sisters Madge Payne of Rocky Hr., Rowena Caines of Ontario, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, large circle of relatives, friends and her special friends at the Deer Lake Manor. She was predeceased by her baby daughter Patsy, parents Walter and Elizabeth Nicolle, brothers Alex and Russell, sister-in-law Frances. A special thank you to the staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital and Deer Lake Manor for their care and support. Service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church with Reverend Kay Short officiating, interment to follow at the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Saturday, Feb. 24th from 7-9 pm and Sunday, Feb. 25th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Rock Harbour.
