Wallace Gilbert Reid

Passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2018 at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, Norris Point, Wallace Gilbert Reid in his 99th year. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his daughters Marina (Sam) Philpott of Happy Adventure, NL, Lorraine (Roy) Pynn of Beansville, Ontario, Alfreda (Wayne) Walters of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Hughena (Randy) Penney of St. John’s, NL, Marilyn (Doug) Walsh of Warkworth, Ontario and son Robert (Noville) of Norris Point, NL, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also a wide circle of other relatives and friends. Wallace was predeceased by his wife Matilda and son Roland. Wallace was a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather and is now resting at peace. Visitation will take place at the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd, Norris Point, NL, on Thursday, July 26th, 2018 from 7-9 pm and continuing on Friday, July 27th.,2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Also where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at 11 am. with Rev. Kay Short officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
