William (Billy) Penney

Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late William (Billy) Penney announce his passing at his residence on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in his 74th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Donald, Paul, Tyler and Jamie; his three grandchildren: Stephen, Jessica and Liam; three great-grandchildren: Elaine, Owen and Sophie; his first wife Patricia and former companion Connie; his sisters: Joyce, Nicole, Marie, Doris, Maureen, Judy, Betty, Diane, Maxine and Patsy; his brothers: Robert, Gordon, Roy, Gerald, Don and Wayne; and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Billy was predeceased by his parents William and Elizabeth Penney and his sister June. Family and friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 from the hours of 7-9 pm, and also Sunday, July 29th, 2018 and Monday, July 30th, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Country Haven Chapel at 2 pm with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment to take place at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and or memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society.
