For 15 years, Conference Services at Grenfell Campus has been offering meeting facilities, catering services and affordable, comfortable accommodations to people visiting the area.
Whether you need an atrium for a wedding or a room for a meeting, Grenfell has what you need, and delivers customer service in a professional and efficient manner. We rent lecture theatres, seminar rooms and classrooms equipped with the latest technology and audio-visual equipment. Our modern buildings, beautiful grounds and picturesque hilltop view of the city of Corner Brook and Bay of Islands provide a perfect backdrop for everyone to enjoy.
Our accommodations are perfect for travellers on a budget, conference delegates, wedding/reunion guests, sports teams and families. You will find comfort in our private residence rooms with semi-private baths. Families can avail of our beautiful four-bedroom apartments with one-and-a-half baths and fully equipped kitchen with a small living room area.
We can accommodate up to 525 people on campus. Last year, we booked 1,950 people over almost 7,000 bed nights. About 70 per cent of our guests are from Newfoundland. Of those, 90 per cent travel for leisure, five per cent for business and five per cent listed other reasons. Last summer our American guests increased from six to 11 per cent, while the number of other international guests increased from 12 to 17 per cent. We had guests from South Africa, Australia, Belize, Germany, the U.K., Mauritius, France, Italy, China, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Netherlands, Argentina and Denmark.
We were thrilled last year to receive a “Certificate of Excellence” from TripAdviser for consistently receiving positive reviews on their website. Our current rating is 4 out of 5.
