Ryan Barry threw two touchdown passes on Sunday to power the Broncos to a 14-8 decision over Marine Lounge in action from the Corner Brook Coors Light Touch Football League at Wellington Street Sports Complex.

Tyler Wells and Ryan Park both reeled in one touchdown pass each.

Michael Morris lead the way on defense with two interceptions, with Andrew Peckford adding a third interception of Marine Lounge quarterback Harry Patterson.

Patterson threw a touchdown for the Mariners to Robert Wheeler and added the one-point convert on a run.

In the second game of the day, it was the Winmar Raiders all over the Whelan's Gate Gators 52-0.

The shorthanded Gators had no answer for the Raiders who were led by Matt Roche and Chris Bulger.

Roche threw for five touchdowns and also caught one from Ryan Hancock.

The other Raiders to catch touchdown passes were Bulger, Steve Vardy, Patrick Fewer, Mike Macphee and Ryan Hancock.

Bulger was the leader on defense for the Raiders with two interceptions returned for touchdowns.

It was a tough game for the Gators up against the league leaders with not much to show either offensively or defensively.

In the final game of the game, the Atlantic Industrial Projects Gophers beat the Pirates 20-8.

In another close game it was the Pirates scoring first on a touchdown pass to Marc Gillis, with the same combo adding the one-point convert.

The Gophers responded with a pick-six by Greg Myrden with the one point convert coming on a pass from Steve Hynes to Matt Hancock.

Greg Whelan added a rouge for the Pirates in the first half.

The second half was all Gophers, with Hynes adding two more touchdown passes, one each to Michael Tavenor and Robbie Myrden. Hynes also added a single point rouge.
