Five players from western Newfoundland have been selected to attend the final tryout camp for the provincial U15 male baseball team.
The final selection camp, which has 25 players from across the province receiving an invite, is scheduled for June 15-17 at Stoney Hill Field in Conception Bay South.
Corner Brook minor baseball products Thomas Hancock, Jay Miller, Andrew Payne and Adam Ward are among the invitees to the final camp, while Jonah Drake of Stephenville will also be gunning for a roster spot in Conception Bay South.
The provincial U15 squad will represent Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2018 Ray Carter Cup U15 Boys Baseball Championships being held Aug. 23-26 in Oshawa, Ont.
