There are six girls from this part of the island who were named to the provincial 16U female baseball team this week.
Brooklyn Childs of Corner Brook, Shilo Chislett of Kippens, Hannah Legge of Cow Head, Hailey Companion of Corner Brook, Bethany Brophy of Pasadena and Shontal Patey-Callahan will wear Newfoundland and Labrador’s colours this summer.
The team will represent the province at the national 16U female baseball championship being held Aug. 21-27 in Bedford, N. S.
