A two-goal effort from Brandon Crewe propelled Western Building Products to the Corner Brook Molson Men’s Broomball League championship on Monday night at the Corner Brook Civic Centre.
Lance Ereaut and Paul Prosper also found the back of the net for the builders in the 4-1 win, which put a cap on a 3-0 best-of-five series sweep over Investors Group in the league final.
Gary Kean and Mike Hawco both chipped in with a pair of assists apiece.
Scott Wayson was the lone marksman for the investors in the loss.
The two sides were knotted at one goal apiece after the first half, but Ereaut struck early in the second for the eventual game-winner, before Crewe, with his second of the night, and Prosper iced it for the victors.
Ian Jones was the winning goalkeeper over Pat Doucette.
