Brett Urquhart’s goal at the 12:03 mark of the third period, his second of the game, salvaged a 4-4 tie for the Elwood High Lakers in West Coast High School Hockey League play at Hodder Memorial Recreation Complex on Monday night.
Isaiah Caines and Josh Shears also put up single markers for the Lakers in the draw.
Ben Smith recorded a hat trick for the Titans, while Will Keating added the other goal.
Johnny Manuel patrolled the Lakers’ crease, with Tom Genest at the other end of the ice.
The Titans jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the first period, before the Lakers cut that deficit to one during the middle frame.
