The Corner Brook Royals held its final open tryout at the Corner Brook Civic Centre on Tuesday night.

With the West Coast Senior Hockey League season slated to begin Nov. 16, Colbourne and the rest of the Royals coaching staff will have to submit a protected list of 16 players and two goalies to the league by Monday. From there, they can fill their roster to 25 players in total, up until the end of next week.
