Exploits Valley High claims third high school hockey title

The Exploits Valley High Eagles captured their third straight Central Newfoundland High School Hockey League with a 2-0 series sweep of the Gander Collegiate Concordes on April 15. In the deciding game, the Eagles defeated Gander 3-1 at the Gander Community Centre. In the opening game of the series, Exploits Valley defeated the Concordes 5-1 to take the lead in the best-of-three championship series. The Exploits Valley High Eagles captured their third straight Central Newfoundland High School Hockey League earlier this month.

The Eagles swept the Gander Collegiate Concordes 2-0 in the best-of-three championship series. The Eagles defeated Gander 3-1 at the Gander Community Centre on April 15.

In the opening game of the series, Exploits Valley defeated the Concordes 5-1 to take the lead in the best-of-three championship series.
