Hockey NL want to see arenas in the province ‘glow for the Broncos’ on Thursday, April 12.
The organization is asking hockey players at all levels – minor, female, AAA, high school, officials, junior and senior – to show their support for the recent tragedy in Saskatchewan.
Fifteen members of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team were killed on Friday, April 6 when their bus was involved in an accident with a semi truck. Fourteen others on the bus were injured in the crash.
Hockey NL is asking players to show up in their jerseys at participating venues with a light that will shine during a short ceremony at 7:30 p.m.
