St. John's Hitmen sweep weekend bantam AAA series versus Western Kings

The St. John's Hitmen swept the weekend series over the Western Kings in provincial bantam AAA hockey league play, winning all three games by scores of 4-2, 11-0, and 7-1.

Meanwhile, in peewee AAA provincial hockey, the Kings were on the road, losing to the TriCom Thunder 5-0 and 7-0, and dropping a 6-3 decision to the St. John’s Hitmen.
